TOM OGDEN brings to the stage more than 30 years of professional touring, beginning when – straight out of college – he ran away with the Clyde Beatty-Cole Bros. Circus. (His folks were so proud!) Before long, Tom traded the tinsel-and-sawdust of the circus ring for the glitter-and-sequins of Las Vegas, Atlantic City and Lake Tahoe. Along the way, he's opened for such varied acts as Billy Crystal, The Osmonds, B.J. Thomas and Robin Williams.

Tom Ogden's work has included appearances on network specials such as The World's Greatest Magic (NBC) and The Great Magic of Las Vegas (FOX), talks shows from New York City to Sydney and Cape Town, as well as numerous commercials. He has twice been voted "Magician of the Year" in the Parlour of Prestidigitation at the world-famous Magic Castle in Hollywood.

Today, Tom Ogden's corporate clients include such varied companies as Disney, Xerox, KFC, Sears and Pepsi. His comedy and magic shows range from pure entertainment to customized presentations that weave the event's theme or message "into the act." Tom has performed in venues from the boardroom to conference centers with audiences of 2,000 or more, and in more than a dozen countries.

On top of all this, event planners welcome not only how entertaining Tom's show is, but also how easy he is to work with. They're rewarded with their clients' praise for finding an act that always exceeds their expectations.

As a magical humorist and motivational speaker, Tom also offers several keynotes and hands-on workshops, including "The Magic of Creativity: Creative Problem-Solving" and "Teaching & Training with Magic."

Tom Ogden's articles on magic and humor in the workplace have been published in such magazines as "Successful Salesmanship," "Career Success" and "Sharing Ideas," and he has been profiled in such publications as has been profiled in such publications as Writer's Market and "Meetings California." His books for the general public include 200 Years of the American Circus (which was named a "Best Reference Work" by the American Library Association), Wizards and Sorcerers The Complete Idiot's Guide to Magic Tricks and The Complete Idiot's Guide to Ghosts and Hauntings (now in its second edition).

Tom Ogden resides in Hollywood, California.
